Welcoming Juliet Campbell MP for Broxtowe
We were delighted to welcome Juliet Campbell MP, Member of Parliament for Broxtowe, to meet partners from across the PCN on Friday. We discussed the challenges and opportunities for health and care services in Broxtowe including plans for the future for even closer working and innovation across Nottingham West.
Juliet said on Facebook: “Over recent months I have had many meetings with local health bodies and professionals to understand more about priorities for health and wellbeing across Broxtowe.
“This week I was invited to meet the Nottingham West Primary Care Network (PCN) to hear about the excellent work they are doing across the main areas of Beeston, Eastwood and Stapleford to improve health outcomes.
“Here I heard from local GP leads, as well as specialists working in Health Equality, Digital Transformation, Leisure, and Council Officers delivering projects in the community which impact on health and wellbeing.
“We discussed the importance of health equity – a subject close to my heart as a former public health lead – as well as the Government’s 10 Year Plan to deliver more health services in the community.
“I look forward to working closely with the PCN to support their ambitions for Broxtowe.”
